CHALLENGE PLUS

The slim body gives a compact and modern design to the floodlights of the CHALLENGE PLUS series. Suitable for lighting architectural illumination, exteriors and midsized and large dimensions sports facilities, these floodlights are ideal when a large amount of light is required while benefiting from low energy consumption. The floodlights of this series contain the best LED technology available on the market, ensuring high visual comfort and maximum glare control.

MATERIALS AND FINISHES
- Body and cover in die-cast aluminum with minimum EN 47100 title with low content copper and high resistance to atmospheric agents.
- Upper cover with smooth finish of highly aesthetic aspect and inner heat removal system.
- Coated in silver-colored polyester powders (RAL 9006) resistant to UV rays according to ASTM D4587:2011 standard and to corrosion according to EN ISO 9227:2017 - Salt spray tests, with a minimum duration of exposure of 2500 hours.
- Pressure compensation filter in Teflon.
- Gaskets in anti-aging rubber, removable.
- Extra-clear tempered safety glass protection screen, 4mm thick.
- External screws in stainless steel.
- Hot deep galvanized steel fixing bracket.
- Aluminium visor for asymmetrical version, painted in silver-colored polyester powders (RAL 9006).
MECHANICAL CHARACTERISTICS
- Opening provides access to optics and cable box in a single and easy step by using two solid stainless screws.
- To prevent accidental closure of the cover during assembly and maintenance, the device is equipped with an automatic anti-closing mechanism.
PROTECTION AGAINST SURGES
- CL I: up to 10kV, both in common and differential mode.
POWER SUPPLY CHARACTERISTICS
- Power supply unit consisting of a programmable driver with a lifespan greater than 100,000h and only 10% of failure rate.
- Electronic power supply with integrated thermal protection with high efficiency and durability intended for external use. All versions are protected against overloads and surges to protect components and LEDs.
- The system is equipped with a knife switch to interrupt the power supply at the device’s opening.
- Power supply cable through a PG 16 cable gland IP68.
- Power correction factor at full load > 0.9.
- Power supply 220 - 240V / 50 - 60 Hz VAC.
- Cable plate complete with easily replaceable electronic unit with “Plug and Play” anti-inversion system.

- PLUS optic: symmetric optic designed in-house in two different beams, in order to meet different illumination needs.
- The optic consists of high purity aluminum (99,99%) reflectors, with elevated reflectance and performance.
- Available optics:
- MB optic - Medium beam: 2x20°; with specular finishing;
- WB optic - Wide beam: 2x38°; with peened finishing. - Optic group easily replaceable.
- Inner heat removal system.
- LED technology on an extruded aluminium heatsink, highly heatdissipating.
- Color temperature (tolerance +400K): 4000K – CRI >70.

- The optic consists of high purity aluminum (99,99%) reflectors, with elevated reflectance and performance.

- Maximum intensity with visor: 48°.
