The city of Castelnuovo Garfagnana (in Tuscany), considered the capital and the green heart of Garfagnana, has recently renewed its public lighting. More than 1300 new LED light sources have been installed through project financing, replacing the previous ones that were obsolete because they date back to the 1950s.
Considering its prestigious urban context, for this important lighting project, the Authority chose PROXIMO CITY and PROXIMO WAY streetlighting series, and the urbanlighting series DOMINO FLY, DOMINO PARK and DOMINO STREET.
Both series offer to urban lighting products that combine design and flexibility of use, providing optimal visibility along all the streets and increasing road safety. In terms of flexibility of use, the various types of fixture allow the products to be installed in any situation: wall-mounted installation, with adjustable brackets, on straight pole, side entry installation and suspended installation on cable.
Fael LUCE luminaires have been chosen because they have been able to combine exactly the requirements of lighting efficiency and energy saving, with an unmistakable style and an unavoidable product quality.
From now Castelnuovo Garfagnana, and all the sourrondings places, can become a welcoming, safe and comfortable place thanks to Fael LUCE lighting systems.
The Authority is very pleased with the new LED lighting features which has greatly improved the safety of citizens, but it has also enabled the town to reach a significant energy efficiency, saving more than 60% in energy consumption. This type of project is essential for a significant local development and civic pride.
Furthermore, all the luminaires are equipped with a set of drivers for the remote control system, the first step towards a true Smart City.
