Greek National Road 8A is part of Greece National Highway that connect the capital, Athens, with Patras in southwestern Greece.
With the aim of upgrading the public lighting system, PROXIMO CITY and PROXIMO WAY street lighting solutions were chosen by the Authority for lighting up the National Highway.
A total of 215 km is now lit up by our incredible street lighting with the purpose of improve road safety and to continuously expand services to motorists.
The solution offered by Fael LUCE consists of increase energy efficiency rates as well as road safety and visual confort.
Having a good street lighting level on a particular section, such as the motorway, is extremely important. Lighting is specifically required at road intersections, near stretches of road-repair and temporary diversions, where restriction to free flow of traffic exists. But the efforts to upgrade road safety have yielded significant results with great customer satisfaction.
