Fael LUCE, thanks to many years of experience in the lighting of important sports facilities in the world and thanks to a solid experience in dealing with issues related to the modernization of stadiums, was chosen as the unique partner in the design and supply of lighting fixtures for the three major stadiums in Colombia, which should have hosted Copa America 2021 matches.

The three stadiums involved are Estadio Metropolitano Roberto Melèndez in Baranquilla, Estadio Olìmpico Pascual Guerrero in Calì, and Estadio Atanasio Girardot in Medellìn.

Given the importance of the competition, the Colombian Ministry of Sport has started a restyling project to adapt all three stadiums to CONMEBOL-FIFA's new technical and architectural requirements.

A PROUDLY PERFORMANCE

A PROFESSIONAL SOLUTION

The new lighting systems were made entirely with LEDMASTER ONE floodlight series, an “ecological” and quality choice that brings countless advantages.

Thanks to customized optics, you get perfect stability and outstanding light quality (with color media 5700K and CRI80), high energy efficiency and maximum visual comfort for both players and spectators.

In addition, Fael LUCE LED lighting system meets the needs of many TV broadcasters and football federations that require high quality lighting for HDTV and slow motion shootings.

Fael LUCE, however, did not offer only the floodlights, but a full package solution. All the products are integrated with WISE SYSTEM solution, the new system with which it is possible to combine, thanks to IoT, management systems of the luminous flux, energy consumption and creation of scenic lighting effects with DALI and DMX control system.

All the floodlights were equipped with DMX drivers and dedicate console which allowed to set pre-programmed lighting combinations such as colors, creation of unforgettable scenarios and spectacular light tricks that left all the audience attending the match astonished.

Moreover, it processes in real time the failure messages on the monitored systems, showing the current values for each situation and potential warning making the sport venue more efficient.

One of the extraordinary advantages of Fael LUCE lighting system and for which the Authority  chose Fael LUCE, was the certainty of achieving significant energy savings; thanks to the integration of all systems and centralized management, it can be saved more than 40% in energy consumption.

Thanks to Fael LUCE, the three Colombain stadiums can join the exclusive list of smart stadiums in the world with a technological lighting system that allows to manage different information in real time, bringing the entertainment experience to a completely new level.
